This was a personal project for a friend. She lost her brother at an early age and asked me to fix up one of her only photos of him for her mother. It meant the world to them when they both received a just like new, framed photo.
A personal project after going on a photo shoot at the Brickworks. Beautiful artwork as you see here were all over the four walls of the dark and dusty building that had been closed for renovation.
This was no small feat. Besides merging different aspects of over four images, I was asked to create more spinach from nothing (I believe I was asked to push the magic, "add more spinach" button), add grill marks to chicken and fix up the glass. A lot of work but a great and challenging project which makes me smile when I look at it.
Challenge: Make the cupcake taller and bring in elements from a completely different coloured cupcake photo.
Outcome: Success!
This was a beautiful shot to begin with so it was quite a pleasure to work with. However, as always with Cover images, elements need to be tweaked to accommodate the cover headlines...
Requests:
Make background cup smaller, move back and darken so as to not take away from the main cup.
Add spoon to cup from another shot.
Add drips to the outside of the cup from another shot.
Add more texture and brightness to the mashed potatoes and meat.
Overall colour fix and tweaking of napkin colour
